I have always been a photography fanatic, the ability to tell a story using photos have always amazed me and till I started studying media at BCU, I did not know dat one could study photography in depth. My first attempt to photography I must say was not good but however as I progressed to my second year it became clearer. In this portfolio I show cased my knowledge in photography and how I set my my lighting, aperture and ISO. I took some of the pictures displayed on this portfolio in the studio and I think I am pretty comfortable with using the studio equipments. For most of my pictures I try as much as possible to make use of natural lighting like my mentor Eve Arnold (Lt) she said that she "wants to portray the world as it is through her lens" which is what I think is the best way to display the world through photos, I don't want a make belief, a montage but the fact that the world is as we see it. I love showcasing women in my pictures because I believe in girl power!!!!! I love b&w because it gives the picture that modern vintage look which I like.
